STORE'S COVID-19 FAQ's

Can clothing be tried on in store?

Clothing, such as blazers, will be available to try on on our shop floor if neccessary. Our changing rooms will remain closed until further notice following the government retail guidelines and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Our returns policy will stay the same this summer and returned clothing will be held in quarantine for 48 hours before it is placed back in stock for sale.

What will the opening hours be?

Stores will be operating longer opening hours, opening on Sundays and running late night shopping events, but each store will be different – please like/follow your local branches Facebook page to keep up to date with these alternate opening hours: BE Uniforms Kirkcaldy, BE Uniforms Glasgow, BE Uniforms Ayr, BE Uniforms Dundee, BE Uniforms Falkirk, BE Uniforms Wishaw.

SAFETY & SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES

Before you visit us, please take the time to read our new safety measures to ensure your experience shopping with us runs as smooth as possible this summer. We will be operating a 1 in 1 out system, with a limited number of people allowed in store at any one time. This may result in long queues outside of our stores and our staff will be working hard to ensure you can get everything you need while abiding by the new safety measures, so we please ask for your cooperation and patience. Floors in store and outside have been marked with 2m markings and we please ask our customers to stay within these markings – queuing to enter our store and when shopping. Order forms will be used for customers to notify staff of embroidered items they require whilst waiting in the queue, to keep the time spent in store by each customer down to a minimum. Hand sanitiser will be available on entry, at the till point and exit – we encourage all customers to use these at each point. Both gloves and masks have been made available for our staff to protect them and our customers. You will also see we have installed screens at our till points to protect our staff and customers. Please use the hand sanitiser provided whilst checking out at the till point and use contactless card payment where possible. All stores will be cleaned regularly throughout the day covering all touch points. If you have symptoms of COVID19 and are feeling unwell, please do not visit us – stay at home and help protect our staff and other customers.

ONLINE FAQ's

Do I have to order online?

We can only accept orders from a parent via the website. If you cannot order via the website you will have to contact your school and ask them if they will place an order directly with us.


How do i know if you supply my school?

All the schools we supply online are listed in the schools category at the top of the page. If your school if not listed online we may still supply it through one of our BE Schoolwear stores or through our Direct to School order form service.


When will I receive my order?

Web orders with Home Delivery selected are guaranteed to be delivered within 14-21 days of placing the order. On average orders are delivered within 10 days*.

Web orders with Free Delivery to the school selected are guaranteed to be delivered to the school within 4 weeks of placing the order*.

Can I return personalised items?

Items purchased which have been embroidered or printed for a specific school or pupil can only be returned if faulty or incorrectly sent, however there are some exceptions. To view our full returns policy please click here


I can't find my school. How can I add it?

We need permission from your school before we can create an online ordering page with your embroidered uniform. If your school is not listed, please click here and once we have confirmation from the school we will have the page live within a few days. 


Can I change my order?

We are able to change your order at any time before it is dispatched. However, if the item for your order has already been embroidered you may need to pay a cancellation fee. To change your order or for further information please contact us.

Can I return items i've ordered online to a BE Schoolwear store?

Items bought online that are also in one of our BE Schoolwear stores can be swapped for an alternative size of the same item, which no price change. We cannot refund any items that are not stocked in store. Please contact us to find out more.


How long does it take to receive my refund money?

It normally take 3-5 working days for the amount to be cleared in to your bank account.
